Bike Lover asked: My wife is a wonderful woman and we’ve been married for year and a half. We rarely argue and have no major issues. However, my wife tries to solve her parents problems on a daily basis. I can understand if they are health related issues but they are not. She gets involed with their marital problems and all other issues that should be handled by them. My wife and her dad exchange emails on a daily basis. Today I walked in and she was arguing with her mom on the phone. I tried to politely inform my wife that they should deal with these issues themselves and not involve her married daughter. we got into an argument and there goes my weekend. how do i solve this ? I’m beginning to get irritated with my in-laws and rarely talk to them on phone.

nacholibre01 asked: My husband was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about 4 years ago. He has tried a mixture of medications, therapy, hospitalization, etc. Through these years, nothing has seemed to work for him. He is either very depressed (sleeps all of the time, feels, worthless, has thoughts of death) or very manic. (Can take on the world, comes up with master plans,.sings & dances, etc) Recently, he will not schedule his appointments. He needs to be re-evaluated but they will not let me schedule for him. Any ideas? Have you had marital problems because of this disorder? How about your children? What issues have come with that? I need some help with this, as I feel so alone and so frustrated.

Salvador G asked: Should I be concerned when my four year old is asking to be left alone? He doesn’t want to speak with me about what’s bugging him –although I think he’s caught on to marital problems.

My husband is active duty air force and we have one child. we are currently stationed overseas and having marital problems. i don’t know if i should just leave and not have any documents or should i get a legal separation so that we will have a agreement set up through the system for child support and hopefully spousal support.

mcgrawlisa asked: I am very close with my family and I have few friends. I am having a very difficult time with my husband right now and don’t know who to talk to. I am afraid that if I talk with my family they will get a negative feeling towards him and have a hard time getting rid of that feeling if we do work it out. Does anyone have any suggestions?
